Following last year’s successful launch of the WRAD concept during the London Global Cancer Week event in November, I am thrilled to share further details on next steps to support the establishment of a World Radiotherapy Awareness Day. The launch event received endorsements from major radiotherapy professional bodies worldwide, including AORTIC, ASTRO, ALATRO, CACA, ESTRO, FARO, MESTRO, SIOP, PROS, UICC, and the RCR, as well as support from industrial partners.
